Thank you for a fabulous 2023. On behalf of the Wakari Staff I would like to wish tamariki and whānau a safe and relaxing festive season.

As the end of the school year is upon us, I would like to thank all of the people who have contributed to making the school a happy and stimulating learning environment. To the tamariki, for their smiles, friendly greetings, inquisitive minds and willingness to give things a go, whānau, for supporting the school, the Home and School committee for their time and effort with fundraising and the Board of Trustees for their commitment to Wakari School, their encouragement and support. The combined efforts of all of these groups contributes to the success of the school and is very much appreciated.

A very special heartfelt thanks to the staff at Wakari. Every single one of you is valued and appreciated. You all go above and beyond for our ākonga, care very deeply about their learning, but also care very deeply for them as individuals. Your support for each other is phenomenal. On behalf of the Wakari School community, I thank you and hope you have a relaxing, well deserved break.

To those that are leaving Wakari School, all the best for the future and know that you are always welcome.
