The school is abuzz with activity, children fully engaged and as a school we continue to learn.

The Leadership Team spent a couple of days offsite, we spent time reflecting on our progress thus far and how we continue to improve for both our pupils and staff.  It was especially pleasing for me to be able to spend time with a group of passionate educators wanting to do their very best for our community.

The syndicate leaders now meet with their teaching teams and have a day's release to go more thoroughly through planning for 2019. Previously we have taken teacher only days to accomplish this however with the ongoing industrial action this was not an option for 2018. 

I thoroughly enjoyed helping out at the North Zone Sports held last Tuesday. We had 25 athletes entered and 20 of these (mainly via relays) have qualified for the Otago Champs to be held next Tuesday.

Plenty of goings-on for our learners so please continue to check bags for notices or our website and facebook.
