Wakari Whānau Roopu Event
Whānau of students attending Wakari School are invited to an informal gathering to share kai and get to know other whānau connected to our school.
Whānau of students attending Wakari School are invited to an informal gathering to share kai and get to know other whānau connected to our school, as well as learn some Te Reo Māori as a family and play games to enhance our reo. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
(Any level of language or interest is welcome).
We would love to see you there for a shared afternoon tea. Please bring a plate.

Time: 2.00-3.30pm
Where: Wakari School Hall
What: In this session we are going to look at -
- Learning our Mihi
- Learn about how to register with your Iwi
- Do a Harakeke activity (flax waving)
- Explore Mau Rakau
