An enjoyable term thus far.

Chris Smith —

Teachers and pupils have been making the most of the final term for 2020 at Wakari School.

As I toured around the School this week with various groups who have dropped in to either enquire about enrolling their children or other educators coming to look at our programmes I am so proud of the efforts of the teachers, learning assistants and the students that grace our rooms. As a staff, we never take for granted the support that we receive from our community, especially from our parents. So once again thanks for all you do to get your young ones along and ready to learn.

With a little over three weeks of our school year remaining the leadership team have had the opportunity to review where we are at across a plethora of teaching and learning at our school and also had a look at where to next for Wakari. It is pleasing to note that we will have the same teaching staff on board for 2021. There are some tweaks around syndicate structures as signalled earlier and some room changes for a couple of our teachers. Please click on this link to see School Structures for 2021

Great to see so many of our families purchasing Pool keys to ensure that this resource is continued to be enjoyed by our tamariki. If you have any issues please do let me know.

There is still plenty going on for everyone across the last few weeks so do keep in touch and encourage your children to finish the year on a high.

If I can be of any assistance please do drop in to see me.

Regards

Chris
