The Friday Project group - Sports Performance were lucky enough to have two Southern Steel netball players come in last week. 

Te Paea Selby-Rickit and Jamie Hume came to visit Wakari School's Friday Project group- Sports Performance. We did netball skills, games and shots. We asked questions to get to know a little more about them all. If they were to play a different position, they'd play GD. If they were to be in a different team, they'd like to be in the BOP/ Waikato Magic. 

We  got to take  a photo with them. One of the kids, Hayley, was half the size of Te Paea. Hayley was up to her hips! Both of them are shooters and both play Goal Attack. Jamie and Te Paea are very kind, sweet, caring and of course, tall! We wish them all the best for the upcoming seasons and games they play! We hope they continue to win!
