Terrific Toothy Times in Hub 10 and 11!

Lynda Bardwell —

For the first part of this term we have been learning all about teeth. On Monday we learnt about the different types of teeth and the special jobs they do. We found out that there are incisors, canines, premolars and molars. These teeth are shaped to help us cut, slice, tear, and crush and grind food.

Next we got busy making models to show our learning. We used pink play dough for the gums and peanuts to show the different types of teeth. We also labelled our models carefully. We think they look pretty realistic, do you?
