On one of my drop ins this week I was lucky enough to witness the entire Senior Syndicate rehearsing their Stars on Stage performance.

It warms the heart to see children across all syndicates getting stuck into the Performing Art opportunities happening in the school at present. I thank the staff for all the extra's that go into such endeavours to give children these experiences. It is one of the positives of a school of our size that we have a wide array of talents on staff and throughout our pupils.

The Home and School is building a nice head of steam as we head towards our fair. A great chance for husbands to get in and get rid of those extra's that are lying around. I recall a story from our last fair where a current staff member managed to sneak out something from the lounge and get it into the white elephant only for her husband to purchase it and return it to its rightful place.

Thanks to staff and our Board of Trustees for boxing on in my absence. I am now returning to a very part time role which should allow me to be fully back on deck by week 9 of the term. Also, my thanks to those in the community that have given me a ring, asked about my progress to Anna or flicked me an email. Your support is appreciated.
