Miss Maggie has come ALL the way from China to teach the eager Junior Syndicate learners how to speak Mandarin Chinese! 

We have been having such fun learning new phrases and words in Mandarin Chinese.  

We can say - 

Nǐhǎo nǐhǎo ma - Hello, how are you?

Hěn hǎo - I'm great!

Wǒ hěn hǎo - I'm OK/fine.

Recently we have been learning how to say body parts in Mandarin.  On Tuesday we played a funny game, with one student wearing a mask and drawing parts of the face onto a blank face.  We had to direct the student to the correct place to draw the face - we said:

shàng 上 - up

xià 下 - down 

zuǒ 左 - left

yòu右 - right
