From day one next term, the Enviro School team is introducing zero waste lunchtimes.

No rubbish bins will be provided in the lunch area, and all children are expected to put all of their lunch rubbish, including wrappers and food waste back into their lunch boxes and take it home with them.  We are hoping that this will reduce the amount of rubbish left lying around our school, and also save our school money as we won't need to empty the skip as often.

We would really like as many children as possible to be using recyclable containers instead of foodwrap.
