Food truck fun for Friday Project
The Senior Hub cooking group thoroughly enjoyed their visit from the Citizens food truck last Friday.
For Friday Project this week we were really lucky to have the Citizens food truck come along. Lexie's and Tristan's dad Josh showed us how to prepare a full breakfast meal. The hub teachers were really lucky to get a bacon and egg burger. Most of the kids got fries and burgers. IT WAS DELICIOUS! We had turns cooking and ordering. My group was first to cook, we loved every single bit of it. We also gave burgers to Delwynne and Mr Smith - Shalia
On Friday the Citizens food truck came to school. Lexie’s dad Josh who owns the food truck came as well, he split us up into two groups. I was in the first half. We took the other group’s orders and wrote them down. Then we prepared the food and gave it to them, it looked very yummy. Then it was the other group’s turn, they took our orders. I got fries with bacon and they made our food, they were very good at it. Then they served us our food. It was delicious. It was all thanks to Josh who helped us and told us what to do - Matilda
