Great Discussions at our Whānau Hui

Heather Bonney —

We recently held our Whānau Hui at school. This was a very positive evening where our families had an opportunity to make connections with others in our school community and for our school to share what things are happening at school to support and promote Te Ao Māori, the Māori worldview.

Last month some of our families got together for our Whānau Hui to talk about the things that have taken place in our school over the last year and to share new ideas.

This year we are starting a tradition of celebrating Matariki at our school as an evening community event. We will keep you updated as this plan gathers momentum.

Thank you again to those families who were able to come along to our Whānau Hui, and also to those families who gave feedback on things happening at our school.
