The senior syndicate are halfway through their Term 3 work with Pip on Robotics. This ties in to our PBL focus: The Future.

Working with Edison robots, our tamariki have learnt about inputs and outputs and how to programme their robots to solve challenges such as moving around a space without crossing a border and driving a Euler path. There has been a lot of learning around how to input instructions as code which the Edison robots process and turn into outputs; and how important it is to break down a problem into smaller parts because the Edison robots do EXACTLY what they are told…The design challenge in the coming weeks will be to design a robotic solution to a problem using the capabilities of the Edison Robot!
