Senior Syndicate Warrington Rock Pools visit

Caroline Brown —

On Monday 19th March the Senior Syndicate enjoyed almost perfect conditions for their rock pool visit.

The Senior Syndicate rocky shore trip was another exciting trip. Parents contributed by coming on the rocky shore trip with us. They helped the kids with activities like sand sculptures. Everyone had a great day.

On the 19th of March the Senior Hub went on a trip to Warrington Beach. We found lots of interesting creatures. We discovered new creatures we didn't know about. There were crabs, glass shrimp, seaweed, and many more types of creatures. We had different activities, like three bat beach cricket, touch rugby, rocky shore exploring and doing the metre squared study. This was where we had to find, name and count the number of each creature we could find in the rock pool we chose, in a plastic square. We had a sand sculpture competition too. My group made something that was related to Lord of the Rings. Another group made a whole town. There were mermaids, turtles, stingrays, and of course castles. My favourite part was everything because all of the activities were great fun.We were going to judge but the tide came in so the teachers could not judge our sand sculptures We left at 2:00pm and came back then after we got back it was almost time to go home.By the children in Room 2
