A group of year 6 students recently visited Otago Boys High School for a fun science session.

When we went  to Otago Boys we went in one of their mini vans. When we got there we walked to the science room and met Mr Ashdown. Then we sat at some desks and listened to some instructions. After that we learnt how to turn a blue flame into a safety flame on the Bunsen Burner. Then we got some copper and turned it into copper oxide. Next we got our copper oxide and mixed it with an acid. Then we used filter paper to filter our liquid. I had lots of fun and I would definitely go again.
