How do you make your own ice cream? Can salt make ice colder? How can we make the best bubbles? These were some of the questions being asked at the Science Expo we participated in.

On Monday the Junior Syndicate went down to Balmacewen Intermediate to take part in their Science Expo.  At the beginning of the term they had visited us to talk to about what the children knew about science and what interested them. After that, they worked on designing experiments to put on a show that would suit those interests. The older children were great presenters and the Juniors came back to school 'fizzing' about all they had seen and tried.
