I have returned from my efforts presenting at a conference in Canada and the first thing I noticed upon my return was the high level of engagement throughout our Hubs.

It was great to get to Canada and experience the conference and the Canadian people, who were fabulous. It was also nice to get back to Anna and the kids on Sunday and then to the learners and staff at Wakari on Monday.

We have had many visits from prospective parents over the last couple of weeks and it has been a pleasure showing them around our environment. Standouts have been the friendly welcomes from the well-mannered children around the school.

Thanks to the Home and School for the Safety Road Signs that have helped significantly on Shetland St and discouraged those negligent ones from parking on the yellow lines.

On the negative side, I have noticed a number of our pupils with mobile phones at school. There is no need, nor is this allowed. If you believe you are the exception to the rule please make an appointment with me to explain your case, otherwise thanks for your help with this.
