Botleys and Bee-bots
Hub 1,2,3 have been coding. First we learnt some coding language and did some un-plugged coding challenges. We found out that sometimes we need to debug our programme to make it work.
After a free-play exploring session with the Botleys and Bee-bots, we are now programming them to complete challenges. Last week the Botley challenge was to move from a blue square to a different blue square and then back to the first blue square. The Bee-bot groups had to make a road with a corner and get their Bee-bot to turn the corner without going off the road. The children are also practising their co-operative skills by taking turns and supporting their partner when it is not their turn.
