This week all 4 Middle Syndicate classes visited Toitu to take part in a shadow puppet making workshop inspired by Chinese dragons.

Puppets at Toitu

Today Room 10 went to Toitu. We learned how to make shadow puppets at Toitu. They were dragons. My one was very big. I like my dragon a lot it looks like the best dragon in the world. The dragon has a lot of detail. At the end we all did a puppet show. I did mine at the end. My puppet was a little hard to make but I got there and I did it.

Toitu trip moment in time

I saw … magnificent dragon puppets and special Chinese rocks.

I heard … roaring dragon impersonations.

I felt … inspired by the dragon pictures to create my own dragon shadow puppet.
