The Futsal Festival, which was organised by Football South Women's Development Officer Tessa Nicol. There were 80 girls from 12 teams participating and a number of different schools taking part, including a talented team that travelled all the way from Alexandra!

 The Futsal tournament

Recently we went to a girls futsal tournament at the Edgar centre. When we got there all the girls settled down and the coach/manager told us what court we were on and we went to that court. We did some warm ups and played some fun games. After that we had some yummy morning tea. After morning tea we did more warm ups then we had lunch. After lunch we played some futsal games. We lost 3 games and we won 2 games. There were 6 schools at the girls futsal tournament, including a team from Alexandra. The whole point of the girls tournament is that  girls can get a chance to have a go at playing futsal. It was very fun and we hope to go again.
