Last term we focused on creating legends to explain how natural phenomenon could occur. The children researched legends from around the world, and many Māori stories from right here in Aotearoa. 

They then decided on their own story ideas. They learnt how to draft a story and make improvements as they worked. This was very impressive to see children write 2, 3, or even 4 versions to make their stories High Quality Products. Well done everyone! 

Finally, they decided how they would like to share their stories. Many children chose making a book on Book Creator or Canva.
