The Senior Miniball team have been having a really successful season so far. Thank you to everyone involved in helping our team's success!

We have been really lucky this term to have Max and Dom from John McGlashan College come to Wakari every Thursday to help coach the Senior and Middles Miniball Teams. Here's what we have been enjoying about the season so far:

Every Thursday, Max and Dom from John McGlashan College come to Wakari to train the Middles and Seniors for our Miniball games. We have learnt lots of different things like how to defend and mark up. This term, the Wakari School Miniball teams have been training with two students from John McGlashan College named Dom and Max. We have done really well this season playing at the Edgar centre. We have learnt a lot from them! By Ruben Karawana 

I really enjoy practising with Dom and Max because they teach us some great skills for Miniball, like how to get rebounds and defend against the other team.  By Lucy Fitzgerald

I have really enjoyed playing Miniball this term. I scored a 3-pointer. I was so surprised. I enjoy dribbling the ball and when the ball gets passed to everyone in the team. Our team is working on making sure we are spread out across the court. By Riley Fitzgerald.
