A Great White Shark has Joined Room 10!

Lucy Newton —

Hub 10 and 11 have been learning about the ocean and all about the different and wonderful creatures that live beneath it. We have been doing research, art projects, writing and more all about these animals and have learnt so much already.

Our latest animal we have learnt about is the Great White Shark. We were amazed with some of the facts we have learnt about this huge creature and have created an outstanding display in our class - a life size Great White shark, which has been named George. Here are just some of the things we learnt:

Did you know the great white shark is the king of the sea. They can grow to about 4.5 metres long! - Margaret

The Great White Shark can sniff a drop of blood in 100 litres of water - Micah

The Great White Shark has 300 teeth! - Daniel and Charlotte

Did you know when Great White Sharks open to catch their prey, their eyes roll back - Kizito and Levi

The Great White Shark's eyes glow in the dark! - Alex and Edward.
