Great week to be a Wakari Kid

Chris Smith —

Opportunities abound for our learners.

Talk about Wakari offering an array of learning opportunities and the past week would be an excellent exemplar of what a School, in conjunction with its community, can do for Kids.

Friday at Assembly was a real treat with lots of learning being displayed, along with a rubbish bin and the choir entertaining us. Monday afternoon the Juniors and fabulous parents headed to Balmacewen Intermediate to be treated to a Science bonanza. Ukelele strumming in the Hall, 75 athletes, and some awesome parents, at the Stadium for a Rippa Rugby Tournament yesterday. I could harp on but that is not the Wakari Way, we all just get stuck in and do our best for the kids.  We wouldn't be able to do it without the fabulous teaching and support staff at Wakari or our supportive community, Thanks from me.

Parent Interviews are happening this Monday and Tuesday. The staff look forward to your continued support during these valuable discussion times. If you have yet to book in please contact the office or your classroom teacher.

Holidays are fast approaching and the term has flown by. We have no set date yet for the classroom upgrades for Rooms 1, 2, 3, 10 and 11 as we await Ministry of Education to signoff on our paperwork for the two Hubs.

Thanks for the continued support and as always if I can be of help please drop in to see me.

Regards Chris
