Healthy children, healthy hub and healthy school.

Anna Lawson —

The children in the Rooms 12 and 13 Hub are on a health kick. We are practicing for the cross country and we are working towards a healthy school with the help of Greenie.

Spring is in the air this week, well in the Room 12 and 13 Hub it is! so the children have been out all week training for the cross country next term. The children have been working to increase their fitness, by running laps around the courts.  Each day they monitored their own personal improvement, as they complete more laps in the allocated time, and are able to do so without so much hufffing and puffing. We can see some real super star runners emerging.

In our Hub we have also been working on a healthy school, by helping to keep it rubbish free. Greenie came to visit us in the Hub and the children were motivated to write about him and his message to keep our school clean and tidy.  We also drew some pictures of Greenie, then we decided to share his important message with you. Have a read of a few of the stories the children wrote.
