Over this year one of our key areas for development has been centred around future-focused learning.

The deeper we delve into the research and pedagogy around the differing structures associated with co-operative teaching and learning the more exciting and challenging this thread is becoming. I thank the staff and Board for their willingness to investigate what possibilities this holds for our Wakari learners.

Last week a note came home about the PUDO (Pick up Drop off Zone) that operates on Shetland Street.  Please co-operate when using this space. Simply put, you cannot park and leave your car. Drive up to the zone and if your child is waiting for you, pull into the zone and pick them up. If not go around the block. Thanks to those who have contacted us to ask for clarification. We will be including information in our enrollment packs and the same description is now on our website.

Can I also ask that the smokers please refrain from smoking around the immediate School external areas, particularly at the gates whilst waiting to collect children.

Parent Interviews are are to be held on the Monday and Tuesday in the last week of term 2. Please keep an eye out for notices coming home in this regard, in order for you to set times to meet with your child's teacher.
