Orange Day

Katy Fitzgerald —

Our hard working road patrollers enjoyed their day out at Moana Pool recently.

On Friday 24th November, our year 6 students who safely get us across the road after school each day were rewarded with a day out to Moana Pool by the New Zealand Police. 31 students travelled by bus to the pool where they were thanked for their efforts by the organisers. They were then allowed to take over the diving boards, leisure pool and hydroslide, alongside a large number of other Dunedin school students. There was also a horizontal bungy and sausage sizzle set up outside so a great time was had by all.

Thanks also to the parents and staff who have helped with  road patrol each day this year, whatever the weather.
