Former Pupils Visit Wakari

Stacey Gribben —

On Monday 2 August we were lucky to host a group of friends that had connections to Wakari School. Three of the visitors, John Donaldson, Alyth Donaldson née Topping, and Jenny Otway, née Craighead, had attended the school in the early to mid 1950’s and we were thrilled that they wanted to return and have a look around. It was lovely to hear some of their memories of Wakari School, show them some of their class photos and tell them a bit about Wakari School as it is today.

We always enjoy catching up with ex-pupils. It rekindles connections to the school and makes us all feel proud to be part of such a fabulous school community.

If you know an ex-pupil who wants to make contact please let them know that we are always happy to see them.
