Penguin Poetry

A penguin is blue and yellow,

in winter,

in Antarctica,

in heavy snow.

A penguin is warm gloves,

a fluffy pillow.

A penguin is Happy Feet,

a piece of sliced fish.

- Hayley Ward

A penguin is white,

Like winter at night,

On the snow plains.

It's a snow drift. Oh no!

An itchy sweater,

An old stool.

Madagascar the movie,

and a fish buffet to eat.

- Erica Gerson

A penguin is black and white,

He's a spring chicken.

A penguin's home is Antarctica.

He's ready for snow and ice.

A penguin has a warm coat,

it's like a soft pillow.

Penguins are on Happy Feet,

their fur is like marshmallows.

- Hamish Grindlay

A penguin is blue.

Cold as winter,

in a zoo.

A penguin is snowy,

a winter hat, pants, top and boots.

He is on a chair,

watching Pingu,

warm as toast.

- Lucas Gibson

A penguin is black and white.

They live in the cold, cold winter.

They like to live in Antarctica.

They are the biggest blizzard,

That's why they have their feathers.

They love to sit on their favourite couch,

Watching their favourite movie Happy Feet,

While eating lots of fish.
