Earlier this term our Kapa Haka group, Tikanga Wakari, did a fabulous job performing to our school audience in the beautiful Dunedin sunshine!

This year we celebrated our Kapa Haka learning a bit differently, as due to COVID restrictions we were unable to attend the Otago Māori and Pacific Islands Festival (Polyfest) at the Edgar Centre.

Instead, our school became our stage and our classmates and teachers became our audience! Whaea Sue led the 160 enthusiastic learners that make up our Kapa Haka group in a beautiful performance that was enjoyed by all. The children did themselves proud with their strong performance - Ka mau te wehi! Awesome work!
