See what Room 13 have been doing in Science.

Yesterday we did a science experiment with chalk, water and felt pen. The aim was to observe what will happen if we put a piece of chalk and place it in water. The method was to use a felt pen to make a coloured line around a piece of chalk. Then place the piece of chalk in a glass with 0.5cm of water in it. Observe what happens every 5 minutes. Repeat using a different colour. In the end the felt pen line was all the way at the top of the piece of chalk. For the brown felt line on the piece of chalk it had a lot of different colours in the end of the science experiment. I really enjoyed doing this science experiment yesterday.

On the 31st of October Room 13 got a glass with 0.5ml of water, and then we got a chalk and a pen then we made a line with the pen and put it in the water for five minutes. After five minutes all the colours were bleeding. Then we went for another five minutes and  then another five minutes the colours went up to the top. We watched it for another 10 minutes. During the ten minutes the colours reached the top of the chalk. After the 10 minutes we had another look and the line from the top was starting to bleed down the chalk.
