With winter coming here is what you need to know if your child gets sick.

If your child is generally unwell and the weather is cold, it may be advantageous to keep your child home for one day, so they can get better (and have less days off in the long run).

If your child has been vomiting, then they MUST stay home for at least 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting.

For more health information, go to http://wakari.school.nz/information/medical-info/ or contact the Public Health Nurse on 476 9833.

If we all play our part, then we can help minimise the effect of the winter chills.
