Recently we learnt about ANZAC Day and the soldiers that went away to fight in wartime.

We learn about Anzac Day so we can remember all the soldiers who went to war. The soldiers were brave and they fought for their country. We think that when the soldiers were away at war it would have been scary for them. The fighting was brutal. Life was pretty terrible for the soldiers because they missed their families and they might have died which would have made their families very sad.

It was amazing making those poppies. We used newspaper and red dye to make the poppies. We also used paper, buttons and straws.
