Seniors show off their cricket skills

Tama from Otago Cricket came to Wakari to share some of his skills with the Senior Syndicate.

My favourite thing was getting the ball and chucking it at the wickets. I liked how it was a competition and it was really fun. I like playing cricket. I also liked getting the soft cricket balls and getting his signature at the end.

It was really fun skills to do. I liked the fun competitions. I liked how we did the game when we had to throw the ball and if hit the wickets you could take one out.

I really liked it when we had to try and bowl the ball at the wickets. I also liked it how we stood in a circle and with a partner we had to try and hit the wickets. Tama gave us some stress balls which were very stress relieving. I hope that he can come back again one day.
