Updates on Polyfest 2022!

Heather Bonney —

The organisers for the Otago Polyfest Festival have shared the performance dates for 2022

Our enthusiastic Kapa Haka akonga have been doing a fabulous job learning new waiata and haka in their weekly sessions with Whaea Sue. The children are looking forward to sharing their learning with you and the Tuakana Roopū (Middles and Seniors group) are hoping to be able to attend the Otago Polyfest Festival this year.

This year the festival will be held from Monday 12th September - Friday 16th September at the Edgar Centre. As our Year 4 learners will be attending the museum sleepover that week we have requested that our school performs in time slots that accommodates the sleepover children. The scheduling has not yet been finalised by the organisers, we are very hopeful that they will be able to accomodate our request.  More information will be with you as soon as we have it!

The Teina group will be performing on our school stage later this term and we warmly invite family members to come along and see them perform! More information about their performance will follow in the near future.

Keep up the great work children!
