Over the last couple of weeks Room 16's writers have been inspired to write stories about interesting pictures, blowing bubbles and sharing special news and events from home or from their own imaginations! We have been using 'ing' verbs, 'and', 'but', 'because', adjectives and trying out contractions in our writing! Here are some of our favourite pieces that we have written and want to share with you all. Enjoy!

I am a bubble and I floated above a buliding. I popped because I hit a tree. I was big and shiny. - Mason.

I can see a carriage and it looks like an orange but it's a pumpkin. I can see Cinderella flying up in the sky but not really high. She's flying in the sky because the horses are running so fast. - Lina

The bubble went floating up, up, up in the air and the bubble is a rainbow and the bubble pops because you can see your face in the bubble. - Sylas

The creepy wolf is scary because he is black and he is guarding a tree. He thought the tree was empty but it wasn't. - William

The wolf is looking for the elf but he can't see him. The elf is in hiding in a tree because he doesn't want to get eaten! - Levi

In this picture you can see a wolf. He is searching for an elf because he is hungry, but he can't find the elf. The elf is in the tree so that the wolf can't climb the tree. - Izzy

I like unicorns because they are cute and pretty and I imagine they are flying by themselves. Their sparkly wings fly like butterfly wings. I dream that my toy unicorn brought me to unicorn land and there were hundreds of unicorns. Then a brush came out of nowhere and I combed their hair. - Valery
