The Garden Groupers enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon in the garden last week, and then a delicious picnic feast made from our garden crops!

Last Tuesday was one of our recent hot sunny days, and the Garden Groupers made the most of the good weather by watering our garden and pulling out any weeds we found. 

We then enjoyed a mouth watering coleslaw made from the vegetables we grew ourselves!  After that we had another yummy treat - garlic bread, made with garlic we had grown ourselves!

We decided that the food is even more delicious when we grow it ourselves.

The Garden Group meets every Tuesday at lunchtime, from 12.50pm onwards (weather permitting). We welcome all new members (students and parents) to come along and join in with this fun group!
