The Junior Syndicate is lucky to have Mrs Gribben taking us all for Music once a week on a Monday.

The Room 1,2 and 3 Hub have been enjoying our time with Mrs Gribben learning some new songs.  We have also been exploring the beat with body percussion and even using tambourines and triangles to keep the beat.  It has been great to sing a variety of new songs and this week we even had a chance to sing a round.  The children managed very well, and even the Teachers leading the rounds had fun.

This is a great opportunity for the children to explore new ways to experience music.  The sessions have been going for two weeks, and already we can see the development with the children keeping time with the beat, learning to use their voices with moderation, and focusing on the melody, beat and lyrics.  The best part is that all the children are enjoying this time and look forward to it.  We are all looking forward to future developments, and being able to extend our skills in this area.
