Every Wednesday we are so lucky to have Whaea Sue come to Wakari School to lead our Kapa Haka learning. Our enthusiastic students are doing a fabulous job of quickly learning new waiata and haka in these sessions!

Did you know we have two Kapa Haka groups at Wakari School? Our Middle and Senior syndicate children are in our Tuakana Group and our Junior learners are in our Teina group. Our Kapa Haka sessions only started at the beginning of this term and both groups are embracing their new learning with gusto! We hope you enjoy this wee sneak peak of their beautiful singing and strong actions!
