It is hard to imagine that we only have 3 great weeks left before we head off for the Summer break

The recent beautiful weather has seen our keen gardeners get industrious in our school garden!

On Saturday we hosted a Whānau Wānanga (Family Day/Workshop) at Wakari School. This was an opportunity for our families to come together and explore some of our beautiful Māori arts - such as Oamaru stone carving and flax weaving (harakeke).

Our hard working road patrollers enjoyed their day out at Moana Pool recently.

What has been happening in the Middle Syndicate on Friday's this term?

The Futsal Festival, which was organised by Football South Women's Development Officer Tessa Nicol. There were 80 girls from 12 teams participating and a number of different schools taking part, including a talented team that travelled all the way from Alexandra!

Last Friday 12 lucky farmers visited Cathrin Stewart's farm at Waitati. 

As signaled in this and other publications we are making some changes in our pedagogy (the way we teach) and also the way we utilize our learning spaces. 

The annual community bbq will be on Wednesday 6 December from 5pm.
