The Garden Groupers get creative!

Last week the Wakari School Garden Groupers got together to make some AMAZING butterfly art works.  Why?  So that we can put these  beautiful fake butterflies in our garden to scare off the Cabbage White Butterflies, who enjoy laying eggs on our delicious vegetables!

Great Discussions at our Whānau Hui last term

At the end of Term 1, some of our Māori families attended a Whānau Hui held at school.  This was a very positive evening where families who identify as Māori had an opportunity to meet one another, and also for us all to have a discussion about the direction of our school.
