The Wakari Home and School Committee would like to thank you all for your amazing support of all the fundraisers this year. We understand that as the cost of living increases the ability to donate to and contribute towards fundraisers gets harder, and this is also the time we need the funds the most.
With all the outstanding contributions towards the raffles, pie sales honey sales, discos, the Market Day and of course the spectacular Bingo night we have raised enough money to donate towards the cost of chat bus coming to school, to the year 5 and 6 camps to keep these costs down for parents, and towards books and blocks for the classrooms. And watch this space, the flying fox on the middle’s playground will soon be flying again.
The Home and School committee wish to acknowledge and thank the following people and businesses for their donations and ongoing support of the school fundraisers:
· Goodman Fielder – weekly bread donation for sausage sizzle
· Pak n Save Dunedin – Sausage donations
· He Toki Otago Polytechnic for building the new pool benches
· Prices Movers and Packers for storing all the market day goods for 2 years after Covid cancelled the school fair
