The Waltham Pirates (Yr. 7/8) and Waltham Warriors (Yr. 5/6) basketball teams started the season in spectacular fashion

The Waltham Pirates (Yr. 7/8) and Waltham Warriors (Yr. 5/6) basketball teams started the season in spectacular fashion this week. It was an absolute pleasure to see our teams supporting each other, having lots of fun and representing our school with such a brilliant attitude.

I would also like to take this opportunity to recognise Craig Gault and Kristie Willocks for their dedication and efforts in making this opportunity possible for our tamariki.

A reminder that as we have high participation numbers (which is fantastic!), players will be rotated from week to week, which will provide all students with opportunities to play and improve.

Transport to and from the games for those students who need it will be provided, and the draw will be uploaded to the Waltham website as soon as it is received. The weekly draws can also be found on the following site: https://www.sporty.co.nz/pioneerbasketballclub/Home-2

Students requiring transport will be returned to Waltham following their weekly game, and it will be the responsibility of caregivers to arrange for their prompt collection from school.
