Rob Naysmith —

What a great day it has been today! We had a fabulous turn out for our 'Spring Fling'. We had 9 horses, 16 lambs, 3 calves, 3 goats and assortment of other small animals including rats, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and over 25 dogs! The children created amazing art with their sand saucers, vegetable people and miniature gardens. Thanks to all the parents, grandparents and whānau who came and to Emma Wright for her fantastic organisation of the day. Congratulations to the parents and teachers team who bet the Year 8's in the Human Sulky Race. Days like today are what make Weedons School a really special place.

There have been more Covid cases popping up in our community. If you have a household member who contracts Covid please make sure you are testing all your household each day before leaving the house. If your children are exhibiting any symptoms please keep them home. There are a number of schools who are currently reporting a resurgence in cases and we obviously want to avoid that happening to us. If your children are away please make sure you let us know why when leaving a message. Thanks for your continued support with this.

We are holding a parent information evening on Speech and Language tomorrow night. It is not too late to register, please see related article.

Our Cultural Celebration is on Next Thursday 24 November. Children in years 3-8 will be performing please see article with all the information for this event.
