Kauri, Room 4’s Top Performer for Term 2, is a charismatic member of Kauri Room who truly deserves to be recognized as the class top performer. Congratulations to Will!

Will is a kind, caring, and sensitive member of our class who always brings a smile to everyone's face with his mischievous sense of humor. Will has many hidden talents that make him stand out from the crowd. One of his most impressive talents is his ability to mime - he is truly the best mime that anyone in our class has ever met!

Over the past two terms, Will has made steady progress in all areas of the curriculum. In literacy, Will has neat and beautifully formed handwriting, his reading is lovely to listen to and his spelling has improved exponentially because he remembers to use his spelling fingers and his knowledge of the 'Code' to hear and record sounds as he writes. In maths, Will has worked hard to improve the accuracy and recall of his basic facts; he can now solve more complex number problems by applying his basic fact and place value knowledge.

Will consistently produces high-quality work and never shies away from a challenge. Even when things are tricky at first, he perseveres and never gives up.

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch Will grow in maturity and confidence, over the past two terms. He is responsible and respectful, and shows whānaungatanga by being always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Will is a great friend to everyone in Kauri class, his caring nature draws others to him. Will's hard work, determination, and kindness make him more than deserving of being our top performer for this term.
