To get a better understanding of how families are travelling too and from school, the Selwyn Council are running a Schools Travel Plans survey. The results of this will help the council work with us to formulate a travel plan for our school and families. We hope this info helps to inform decisions required in relation to our school frontage.

The purpose of a school travel plan is to:

• Improve the safety of your children’s travel to and from school
• encourage and support school families to reduce the use of cars
• reduce congestion at the school gate
• reduce energy use and pollution of our environment.

The survey responses will be kept confidential between our school and the Road Safety Team at Selwyn District Council.
