Rob Naysmith —

We are now three weeks into the term! Our Cross Country and Challenge 8 &10 were definitely the highlights for last week. It was great seeing the children out there putting in a solid effort with many of our senior children supporting and encouraging our younger tamariki as they made their way around the course. A real demonstration of Whanaungatanga and Personal Best!

Friends of Weedons met last night. There is a Pasta Vera Fundraiser coming, so get ready to fill your freezers!

We have had 13 responses to our Community Survey which is a good start but we really want to hear everybody's views as we prepare for the schools future direction. Everyones voice is important! Thanks to those who have already responded. The survey is short please read the article in this newsletter for more info and complete the survey, or follow this link and do it now.

There are still a few safety concerns during Pick-up and Drop off please read the article addressing this. It is important we all work together to keep everyone safe.

A quick heads-up that next Friday the 19th is Pink Shirt Day. Children are encouraged to wear pink to celebrate diversity and prevent bullying.
