Totara’s first Top Performer for the year is someone who has continued where she left off last year as a respectful and upstanding member of our class. Well done Anneka.

Anneka is an active member of our class, running fitness sessions, supporting her peers with what is expected in Year 7/8 and contributing to the wider school community.

Last year Anneka was a Sports Captain where she led activities for other students at lunch times and helped run sports events across the school such as cross country and the tryathlon. This year she has applied for several leadership roles which I am confident she will take seriously and achieve great things.

Anneka works hard in class and has made great gains in her writing and maths. She is focused in class sessions, attends workshops, asks questions and uses feedback to improve her work the next time.

Anneka is a brilliant rugby player and has been playing touch over the summer. Her sporting ability shows through in our PE sessions and the lunchtime games she plays. She is competitive but also respectful of the rules around a particular game and is encouraging to her fellow team mates.

Anneka up holds our school Weedons Way values in everything she does and I look forward to seeing her successes this year.
