Rob Naysmith —

It's hard to believe that we only have a week and a half left of the term! The Years 7&8 children have been having a great time at Koru Games this week and the rest of the school enjoyed their tennis lessons yesterday. The Children in Years 5-8 have been practicing for Athletic Sports Day which is this coming Tuesday. You are all invited to this event, a timetable will be sent out via seesaw in the next few days.

Children had a fabulous day on Friday for our Chinese Cultural on the Road event. Please see the article outlining what they got up to.

In the weekend we let you know of the sad passing of Megan Penrose. I have been in contact with the family, and Friends of Weedons will set up a meal and baking roster at the beginning of next week for those who would like to support the family in this way.

Our Board Election has now closed and the votes will now be counted. We need to wait 5 days for any final postal ballots to arrive and then we will announce our new Board. Thanks to the candidates who stood and to everyone who voted.

Remember that Monday is a Public Holiday for Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Day

Ngā mihi
