We took out a platinum award at the Selwyn Responsible Business Awards last week.

The wonderful work that the staff, students and Board do at Weedons school to help the environment was recognised at the Selwyn Responsible Business Awards last week.

These awards happen every two years and are held by Lincoln Enviro. There is a business section and a school section to recognised how we are trying to reduce our environmental footprint and educate our community.  

The introduction of our solar panels, caring for our fruit and native trees, the inclusion of our students in looking after our school and the teaching on environmental issues were all recognised along with the  work April Fitzjohn has done to support this.
