Totara’s Term 2 Top Performer is someone who has continued where he left off last year as a respectful and conscientious member of our class. Well done Tobias.

Tobias has a wealth of knowledge, from his extensive reading of nonfiction books, that he shares with us regularly. If he wishes to know something more about a topic he is quick to head to the library or search on the internet and up-skill himself.

What a wonderful mathematician Tobias is. He is quick to recall number knowledge and challenges my thinking to provide him with more complex problems. Tobias is always striving to do better and put what he knows into solving word problems.

Tobias is sharing his talents with increased confidence. He made amazing paper swords for his High Flyers project last year and thinks critically about strategies when playing games. He has been instrumental in making sure our chromebooks are safely locked away at the end of a day.

During our Mandarin lessons, Tobias has drawn on his learning of the language at home to support other members of the class, answer questions from the teacher and to make connections with his learning. It is great to see him sharing his culture with pride.

Your year is off to a great start and I look forward to seeing what you can achieve before you head off to high school next year.
